Tynecastle FC is very excited with the addition of Craig Tomlinson, former Sounders FC player to it’s coaching staff.  Craig will be focusing his efforts on player development, strength and conditioning as well as head coach of boys u13 and u10 side.

Craig grew up playing soccer in the streets, parks and fields of Kingston Jamaica.  His passion and love for the game brought him to the USA, where he played NCAA D1 for Fresno State Bulldogs.  At Fresno Craig was an All-American and Western Athletic Conference MVP, leading the  Bulldogs in points, a 17-5-1 record, Conference title and a quarterfinal  spot in the NCAA tournament, ending the season with a No.7 national  ranking.  Craig signed with Seattle Sounders in 2000, playing 8 season and winning 2 titles in 2004 and 2007.  He compiled 119 appearances with the Sounders FC, retiring in 2009.  Craig also had appearances with the Jamaican National Team.

Hoggy met Craig in 2000, where as an assistant coach with Seattle Sounders, Craig was beginning his rookie season with the club.

Craig brings over 15 years of coaching and player development to Tynecastle FC.  He has worked with the Sounders youth development programs, Emerald City FC and Washington Youth Soccer ODP Girls program.
